Philip Hammond delivered the Autumn Budget on Monday 29 October. In the midst of current political and economic uncertainty the Chancellor’s statement is of more interest than ever. He has indicated that, in the event of a no deal Brexit, he could update the Spring Statement in March 2019 to a full fiscal event if necessary. We have prepared a summary for you in plain English which we hope will help you navigate your way through and get to grips with the changes. We have broken the summary down into the main areas of taxation, including business and corporate, employment, personal and capital. We have also included comments on the more important changes, together with any planning points that may arise.
Please download Kingly Brooke’s summary of this year’s Autumn Budget from our website here.
It will remain on our site for you to refer to as and when you need it but if you have any questions, don’t forget we are here to help you through the tax maze, so please do get in touch.
